I dont have a tutorial as such but all he is is 6 oval pieces stitched together and stuffed till he is round with 4 discs building up to his eye with ribbon and fabric streaker details

It's a reference to a musical. "Because science killed god" - the characters from this point in the show use the line "Oh my dead god" often.

It's called Starship - if you have a couple hours I would look it up on YouTube. The company's called StarKid.
