The man who can make a pencil disappear and who looks surprisingly good in a nurse outfit
The first time ever that I tried something like this
Before this, I've always worked from light to dark (adding shadows) instead of from dark to light as in this case. It came out pretty good I think, for a first try 
The gloves were especially fun to do, as was his eye (or rather, the make-up around it).
The scanner gave me a bit of a hard time, partly because I've got no idea how to scan something like this and partly because the paper is just, well... terrible.
Heath, we miss you. Please come back.

Thanks! I was actually a little surprized myself that it came out so well
Make sure you've got decent black paper! Mine was crappy, and really thin. But in case you'll have to choose from thin and thick black paper, choose the thin one. The thick black paper I had had a lot of texture, which isn't nice
I also used 2 different brands of white pencils. I found one especially good for drawing outlines and stuff, and one for adding highlights/shading a little. I'd also recommend to draw your outlines with graphite first! White pencil is a pain to erase (if it ever wants to be erased at all)
You can better use a black pencil to go over the white parts you want to erase, I found that works great!

No problem!
Personally, I like Derwent coloured pencils (especially the Inktenses), but I think any brand will work fine. I used 2 white pencils from different brands and they pretty much complemented each other
