Description
Alexander Skarsgård as Eric Northman from True Blood. Never seen the tv series, but I like the novels! Lots of... vampire action
I started it Sunday afternoon, but I did most work on it today. I felt kind of terrible yesterday and today, so I took up my pencils, drew the whole day and now I feel better. So I guess drawing therapy does work
I sprayed this with fixative before scanning it (BAD IDEA) which made his forehead look... weird. It's terrible to see really, but you don't see it that much in real life. Though you didn't see it at all before I sprayed fixative on it. (Mental note to self:

Does the white Inktense pencil go over the black opaquely? Also, do Inktense pencils erase? I saw them the other day and thought I might pick some up later.. great work, by the way, super intense.

I don't know about white Inktense pencil, as I don't have those, but I do have the Derwent Coloursoft white pencil. That one doesn't really go over the black opaquely, but if you go over it a few times and blend it a bit it does
They don't really erase though, that's why I use a black pencil to get rid of things I don't like

Looks mysterious indeed! I love that you've used a tiny bit of red there, it's a really nice touch. 
And I'm glad I can share this black paper obsession with someone.

I love how you draw on black paper, it makes it more interesting, plus it seems like it would be more difficult, cos the shading is in a way backwards is it not?

Actually I find it easier and more fun to draw with white pencil! I always figured it would be very difficult, but turns out it's not

yes its very annoying. I used black paint to cover up marks, but thats because it wasnt a pencil drawing type of thing.

You should definately try it! Even if you don't like it in the end, it's a nice practise to draw 'backwards' some time

is there a certaing paper you use? because ive used black paper before that ive tried to use an eraser on, and it practically peels bits of the paper off

I used to have very crappy regular black paper, but I bought some at an art store the other day. I don't know if that solves your erasing problem though, because black paper is just different from regualar paper. Even the paper I bought from the art store peels a bit
