They're a couple of side? ...characters from Final Fantasy 8. They were once both soldiers in the Galbadian army and over a long series of flash back events you learn that Laguna (the paler one) becomes a journalist and then over an even longer series of flash back events, is eventually appointed the president of one of the city states in that world. XD He is Squall's father. Kiros is more or less with him to the end though and even though Laguna has relationships with a couple different women, (accounting for the existence of Squall rofl) he and Kiros are so close that this pairing is nearly cannon. XD

Actually I have to correct myself on one point... The place Laguna was made President of was actually an entire continent. LOL I was only remembering the capitol city but the whole place is really actually huge. It's the largest land mass on the planet and the center of civilization and technology.

Over on Y!Gallery there's a trilogy of RP based Kiros/Laguna Laguna/Kiros and Kiros/Laguna/Ward fanfics that some friends did. It's mostly just the smut scenes that I go back and re-read though ROFL *perv* But the story is hot/cute in a kind of random, 'Kiros seems to have some kind of personality disorder but I think it's just the result of the writer's mood swings' kind of way. It's not a bad read and I fucking LOVE the pairing so I'll forgive a lot to read them getting it on. XD

I will be inspired to draw more of them hopefully!! Maybe more so if people would write fics about them. XD

Me too!! I've wanted to make a fanart of them for so long and I was never able to draw either of them to my satisfaction before now XD I'm pretty happy! I'm so glad to find more people who like Kiros/Laguna. They're just so hot and nearly!cannon It makes me smile. XD

OMGHAIR!! I love to draw it and brush it and braid it and draw more pretty boys with interesting hair. XD
