Oh me, oh my, it looks like Lear's parents made it to Tao finally! And they seem to have been expecting the worst.

That's something I feel was missed in 'The Ties That Bind' by a lot of people, specifically in these pages.
It was probably Oberon's more optimistic attitude, but he had to keep a strong face for his dear friend (who also knew full well those kids could be dead).
But in that second page of that set, when Borachio was asking about the Moon Stone, you can tell Oberon knows things might not be well. And Borachio didn't ask to be unkind. He just wanted to be sure Oberon knew what could be.

So... just... read that again with all that new insight if you didn't think of it before.
And... that description was way more about older pages, oops.

But, hey, it's Ringo! I would be scared too if I was approached by Oberon out of nowhere. He's got a pretty intimidating appearance.
