Experimenting a bit with combining pencil and ink.What do you guys think about tattoos? I don't have any, but I really like the work that the artists do. They're so talented *_*

I love EVERYTHING about this! The palette is just perfect so that each color pops, and the
tattoo really stands out! I agree, no tattoos but some of them look amazing
You said combining pencil and ink. Was this done traditionally?

Hey, sorry for replying late! This was done with multiple traditional mediums, then colored in Photoshop.
I used ink for the darkest values, then pencil to do the lighter shading in places like the tattoo.

For this one I mostly used a BIC ballpoint pen (its clear white and says "ultra round stic grip" on the side), and a fat black Prismacolor marker for filling in large portions such as the hair :3
Sometimes I use a water brush filled with india ink for more thick, brush-y work, but not in this case.

I love the colour scheme, the bright orange on the tattoo really stands out against the grey background and complements the light and dark blues. I don't see this colour scheme used very often outside of holiday resort advertisements.

This is just gorgeous! I love this fox tattoo and this red ey make up, it makes the eyes pop out with the white skin^^ I want this as poster XD I actually don't like tattoos that much but I love watercolor tattoos, they are so pretty and they look so soft and light, normal tattos looks always a bit, I don't know, heavy? I don't know how to explain it^^'
