Really...? I've never heard of that doujinshi though... and this character is made up a looooong time ago when I wasn't a member of dA... his personality though did come through while I was a member here.

and yeah the doujinshi got released at your place and not in Sweden.. So how the hell would I be able to get that doujinshi?? I'm always broke too, by the way... X5 and I don't buy things at the computer, I'm not allowed.

Before you get too hyper and too much on the defense, no one is accusing you of art theft. As a matter of fact, I even told NamekianPikkoro7 that same thing. That ... Yes, the similarity is striking and it just may very well be innocent. Reason why I really asked is because I knew that the DBHC series had been available internationally and had once been translated into Swedish so I wondered if it could of been a source of inspiration at all.

This is a very difficult subject when you’re dealing with fan characters or fan art because it is what it is. Even published doujinshi — It’s fan art and in the end the only rightful owner is Dragonball’s creator, Toriyama.

So then it becomes instead a matter of courtesy. I wouldn’t (and you wouldn’t) want anyone to think that you were just lifting ideas out of a book. Do you understand? Don’t be angry about it because I’m not here deliver a cease order *lol* It IS beautiful artwork, but I also feel that I could have enjoyed it so much better as your very own concepts if it were not for the fact that he looked so much like someone I had already seen. I hope I've been able to say that without hurting your feelings.

Well, all nameks belong to Akira Toriyama indeed. But I think that fanart is just art of some character that someone else has done. I mean, Draco's personality, that is what I'm owning, not the race "nameks" those belongs to Akira Toriyama. However Draco isn't all namek either... he is half "vergian" too...
Hmm... But now when I come to think of it... Piccolo IS in the background so technically it would be a fanart. ^^
