Verrry not happy with the colours here, I changed it from cold to warm tones and back about a billion times and neither felt right. Darnit. Also, John's face should be a euphemism for a curse for how difficult it is to draw.

Idea came from this fanart by inner-timelord and I built a bit on the design of demon!Sherlock based on the glimpses given there... The pose was inspired by the etymological meaning of 'nightmare', meaning an incubus that sits on a sleeping person's chest and suffocates them (or has sex with them, depending on your myths).
