Description
I drew this after tons people said they would have stuck googly eyes on him rather than drawn them on.I've even made this to be the size of desktop wallpaper if anyone wants to use it!
P.S. I'm currently drawing a Handy Man...

I wish you had the option to either kill, or "save"/let them live, like the humans in Bioshock 2.
But the sad thing is the best thing to do for the Handymen is to put them down. In fact, they actively beg for it (" Turn me off! Please!")
The worst was finding Sam the Handyman in Vox World. Made me hate that I came out as a Vox Populi member in the Industrial Revolution puzzle game.

Yea they I would have totally let a lot of these guys live! Though those crow bastards just seemed to enjoy trying to kill me :/
Some of the dialogue in the game is really well written, with the heavy hitters or even just walking around Columbia, it really feels like you're eaves dropping with some of the conversations they have!

The Crows are crazed cultists. However, if Lady Comstock didn't die, they wouldn't have gone to the level that they appear in the game. I'd see them acting more like knights then anything else (of course twisted knights because of the racism they employ.)
The only thing I didn't really like about the audio was that all the NPCs had only 1-2 lines that alternate. Some games have up to 5 or more different lines hat play after a while.

I don't actually know that much about the crows, what's the story behind them? And also the Firemen dudes, I know they constantly blame you for being the way they are :/
Are the crows really racist? I didn't spend too long with them, I killed them almost straight away!

They used to be Lady Comstock's personal guard. They worshiped her hand and foot and would do anything she asked of them.
When she died, the Crows took it especially hard, blaming themselves for her death and punishing themselves by wearing the hoods and coffins on their backs.
Comstock them began blaming minorities for her death, and the Crows where convinced that non-anglos where responsible. So they took an oath to avenge her by essentially purifying the city, which is why they chain people and feed them to their crows.
I'm pretty sure they never would have become to that level of racism is Lady Comstock wasn't killed. They might've been critics of other races, but they would have cared more for their matron then for random guys from Finkton.
The Firemen are "criminals" that Comstock had put into armored suits similar to Iron Maidens. The suits don't light you on fire, but keep the heat high enough to burn you constantly, like HellFire.
Chances are most of these guys are in fact innocent, and where used as examples, or where critics of Comstock. So they essentially became armored freaks similar to Big Daddy "selection". It's similar to the Handymen, but while Firemen can probably remove their armor, the Handymen are trapped once the operation is done to them. Probably the early Handymen "created" where done as a result of trying to enhance the injured and heal terminally sick individuals, but later on where used to turn pacifists and critics into mechanized slaves.

Oh! And thanks for such a detailed description! I know who to come to now if I have any questions about any of these guys! I don't suppose you have a dozen folders with really good high quality reference images of these guys? I've struggled with getting what I could of the Handyman and BoS!

The pictures I find are usually on Google. But Google Images is pretty horrendous because it's the same images again and again and again. Tumblr is better, but it uses alot of data.
Although I have found some pretty neat stuff from hours of investigative work.
I can try uploading them here on DA, but I don't know if there are rules against it though.

Er....I'm not sure, I see a lot of people uploading screen grabs but I never know what the deal is with it...I guess you could ask a member of staff, or just upload them and the worse thing that could happen is you get a slap on the wrist and they are taken down? Mind, if you didn't create the images yourself, it probably isn't right to upload them...Or is it okay to upload to scraps?
Hmmm....Alternatively, if you promise not to give me a virus, I could sneakily slip you my email address in an inconspicuous brown envelop and you can deliver me the goods?

I don't know if they can, I have Vista and it's rubbish. Perhaps facebook or email, I don't actually have a tumblr >.> I keep thinking about getting one but I just don't understand it's purpose D:
