This is a really amazing shot. Can I use it for a school project I'm working on? We're a 'history of popular culture' class, and we're making websites. I decided to do mine on this site, and I'd like all the images I use on the project to come from DA. Β Thank you for reading.

absolutely gorgeous!! I remember when I went there a long time ago, I miss the colors of the trees (I went during the late summer/early fall)

You can't always get what you wan't all the time. But this makes up for that, and perhaps soon you could return to the park where the bear are.
Wonderful colours, no wonder you wanted to shoot them.

I really love the amazing colors of it. Just one improvement maybe: I know you probably cropped it because i read your description, but i feel like there should be more of an image. Otherwise gorgeous, gorgeous shot

Wow, I really love the gnarly branches C:
Now I know for sure what an "Aspen" is. I always just used to refer to these trees as "zebra trees" LoL.
Sorry you did not get your bear picture, but at least you got to watch them for a while

Nice colors but the strong vertical lines seem to contradict the postcard format.

hmm.. most tree shots like this are done in panoramic format. That's the way I feel they look best. But, everyones taste is different. Thanks for the input!

I love the fall colours, and the white of the bark.

Your narratives of the images are very well written.

Lately, I've been kind of obsessing on woodcut prints of autumn trees, which I make starting with photos. (I don't have any up yet.) This one would be just about perfect: It's really just black, white and an orange-yellow fade. The details would be a pain, but that's what makes it interesting, right?

This is horrible, you couldn't even get a black bear photo in Yellowstone. Half of the trees don't even have leaves! Terrible I say.
In all reality we all know this shot is nothing short of amazing. It's always amazing to see a photo you didn't really plan on shooting and get a shot that becomes one of your favorites. Very nice.

That's how my trip was, so many black bears, but only a few close enough for photos.
