To put it simply, I don't really believe in gender-specific names.
And I feel it's more important to represent a character's personality in their first name than it just being an affirmation of their femininity or masculinity.

Cause that's the name Nefepants wanted her character to have, I suppose? Her name is Louis - pronounced Lew-is, not Lois - which is generally pronounced 'Lowe-is'. They're different names/pronunciations, and just because the character is physically a woman doesn't mean that has to define everything about her.
