im the only who thinks about a scene of the first crusade when the crusaders took a city and kill people, but one noble protect the people who were on a moslem church, then in other battle the moslems negotiate with he because he was the only noble who show some compassion with moslems

Read your history mate. At least here in the UK we have a tradition of fantastic historians (with actual PhD's) that would tell you that the crusades were nothing to do with justice or Muslim expansion (if so why did they march to Jerusalem and not Muslim Spain)...it was pure bigotry of Pope Urban and the greed and zeal of the feudal Europe Kings. They created lies of crosses being smeared in pigs blood (yet we know Muslims don't farm or eat pigs not even the christian Arabs do) and they cursed Mary and Jesus (yet we know that Muslims believe in May and Jesus as holy figures) and Christians being tortured or forced circumcised (yet we know Christians were treated better in Muslim Spain than in Catholic Spain which saw many Muslims Christian sects and Jews forced to convert or die painful deaths...Franco continued ban on all religions except Catholicism up to 20th century!)...so it was war mongering in a nut shell...pretty much what we still see today...religion abused for the use of the corrupt the greedy the zealots...I think its safe to say that there are evil people and those evil people dont have any particular colour ethnicity or culture...and likewise for good people, we all have a choice, just as well as an opinion...Β  Β

Yep this seems accurate, Templars stopping Crusaders from killing random people.

the expression of every characters is so realistic, I can imagine the moral dilemma that the guy protecting the muslim family is facing, he's kind of like thinking 'did God really wills all of this?'

Amazing. Extremely well-done. Well, "where do you stand?" Hmmm... Depends on the situation. Was the Crusader like those from the real world's history? And why are these other guys attacking the mother and child?

I sort of got this idea from real historical settings, The crusaders butchered a lot of muslim populations as they sacked cities along the way. I can't imaging the moral ordeal the naive young knights and soldiers go though to justified the truth in front of their eyes, what if choosing to protect the innocent means becoming the enemy of your comrades and your very own faith?

That would be tough. Plus, if you had real faith (at least according to my school's religion teacher (i'm not religious, but I go to a Catholic school)), even if you were excommunicated by the Pope, that wouldn't mean anything - the Pope is simply a conduit through which "God" can display his apparent orders/desires, and a corruptible one at that.

God would never agree with something as horrible as the crusades. They were purely man-driven and Jesus wasn't part of it at all. God gave us free will, the crusades were the opposite of that. Jesus never said raise a sword and fight for His name.

actually fun fact the Crusades were started due to Islamic expansions into spain, invasions into Italy, and invasions intoΒ France. The Crusades united for the first time perhaps since the romans the mainland of Europe, curbed the military expansion of the Seljek Turks, brought back goods and technologies that revitalized Dark Ages Europe, and stopped the massacre of not only Christian pilgrims but native Christians living Palestine, Syria, and Egypt (because guess what the Turks massacred innocents as well). The main thing about crusaders massacring muslims really has to do with one major event, the sacking of Jerusalem. Honestly it's surprising there was anybody left to live there, since the Seljek Turks massacred the Christian population when they took the city first. Β
