part of a self portrait project in photo class [where the person was not supposed to be in the photo...] I bullshitted the reasoning behind it, but I can't remember what it was anymore. It went along with four other pictures, but they're too shitty to post.I mostly thought it just looked kind of cool. :/
btw, sorry it's so grainy. it looks a lot better in real life. effing glossy paper.

You should've taken some more pictures outside. The only ones I've seen from you are inside, and interiors are really hard to light, especially for beginners. I've never tried but everyone told me it's a bitch.

Yeah, to avoid that just try to keep the ammount of sky in the shot to a minimum. But like, for alot of portrait work overcast days are the best because of nice smooth light. It would've been very good for David's portraits and what you were trying to do with them.

yeah... I don't think i took any pictures outside except for my final project. my teacher was a nazi about washed out skies so i tried to avoid that as much as I could so i didn't have to fuck around with filters and shit... ended up working my ass off trying to boost contrast instead because my negatives were really flat :/ so i had to screw with filters regardless.
yeah, interior light is a bitch, i never got it to work quite right...
