FINALLY FINISHED.#1 of the Valentine's kisses series, of which you can see the sketches on my journal here .
(The rest of them - however many I get around to finishing - almost certainly won't have this much effort put into them, but Ocarina of Time Link/Zelda is my OTP and I wanted to make sure to capture the sentiment I have for this scene.)

They have to say goodbye because... well, I don't really have a good reason. But here's Zelda's words from the game:
All the tragedy that has befallen Hyrule was my doing...
I was so young...I could not comprehend the consequences of trying to control
the Sacred Realm.
I dragged you into it, too. Now it is time for me to make up for my mistakes...
You must lay the Master Sword to rest and close the Door of Time...
However, by doing this, the road between times will be closed...

@KittyHawk: What?!?!?!?! You've never heard of the Legend of Zelda?! It's only the most celebrated, best selling, and highest rated video game series of all time! Link is also the hottest video game character ever as well! But, if you don't know about it, it's not really a combination of anything but if I had to say what it's like, it's like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter mixed together. =3

Awkwardly enough, the reason I got here is that I was looking through someone else's favorite gallery because they favd one fmy pics, and I've never played or really heard or the whole Zelda game thing, but even I have to admit that this is breathtakingly gorgeous. I love it!
