Description
I realized that through a combination of my style and the way that photoshop represents images as a series of layers, my images then to be quite two dimension. I tried to add a little more depth to this image.1oo% digital 1oo% photoshop

Great surrealistic scene, you loose your mind as the depth disappears into the "horizon". I also like the "father and son" figures, gives you a sense of scales.

this is great, i love the way the trees stand out boldly while the rest is all kinda 'fluffy'! its very full of light and calming.

If you want more dramatic depth just go darker with the increasing distance.

this actually reminds me of the first book of The Chronicles of Narnia..
in this paricular scene.. two children (see? two shadows in your picture ) were brought into this in-between world... a place that provides many entrances to various worlds...
this place... is just.... green, all around... the sunlight playing through the semi-transparent green leaves... and the air is... heavy with the scent of dreams.. it just makes u want to lie down... and sleep...... under the warmth of the shade... yet another favvie

It's amazing, but there is nothing wrong with your "flat" work. They are all amazing. Thought "Reach for the Stars" is by far my favorite. I think this shall be added to my favorites as well. Keep it up.

I would not advise you towards Bedissy's direction, because it is important for you to develop as an artist. That is a design question with every piece.

Nice to see you experimenting.. although there wasn't a single thing wrong with the "flat" pieces.. that's fer damn sure I'd say you were very successful in creating the effect you were after, and the depth you created here really adds a lot to the image.

hmm, i think that depth is not something that you need to be concerned about. the flat look gives your work a great feel to it. This is still vastly better then most stuff that gets submitted here, but i dont like it as much as most of your other stuff. I dont know if your style lends itself to any kind of a depth of field effect. i say, stick to what youve been doing, and it seems that everything you submit gets more and more beautiful. but its great that you are experimenting and expanding your style, because without experimentation, noone would ever improve. I guess i wrote so much, because you are one of my favorite artists on devart, and i really enjoy your work
