Something I've ruminated on since their conception - bigger, funkier, inverted versions. Per usual, my silly fixation with orifices and something glowy floating in them is overly present. Also my recent interest in inverting colors. Ah well. I'm predictable, what can be said?

I really wanted to call the bigger ones Dwarf - in relation to the type of star bc though they're small for stars, stars are still huge - but... I wasn't sure ppl would get it and I already used dwarf in relation as a double pun(?) in reference to Grymm, one of the OCs from the OC dumps I've been doing... bc he's got this small anthro form and a huge double-jawed quad form... which I've drawn but I haven't finished so don't expect it any time soon k thanks.

Also ye that's a lil comparison using Zero bc i adore him, although he's actually kinda large for a common crybeast oops sue me. And the big thing is Zxarthicates, but... it doesn't really tell anyone that so no one would know.

ANYWAYS Crybeasts are from a dying planet n jump through portals that randomly show up. Usually the portals are just small spacial twitches from the planet slowly collapsing, and generally aren't large enough for the bigger, more powerful cousins to go through. But they've been documented so sometimes it happens. The neon discharge that common crybeasts have are only present in a condensed crystalline fragment usually suspended in the chest holes of Greater Crybeasts. Also they drip far more than their lil cousins, and their Vvivvidum has very different properties - so much so that some think it might not be Vvividum at all. It's actually very similar to oil especially since all crybeasts are in part created from the innards of the dying planet. So the insides of the Greater Titans could conceivably be composed of the oraganic remains of whatever used to roam their world. It's kinda erupted into a mess of Vvivvidum since, so who can be sure?

None of this lore is rly relevant in any way 2 u probably since I don't think I'm gonna be using them much in terms of adopts BUT maybe one day i can actually do that comic with Mo, and also it's Fun for me so.... ye. I'm putting this in species refs just bc.... it kinda counts. a little.
