Yes! I made this!And my hand hurts now. took me 15-20 hours.
Comics are so hard to do! especially when colored and shaded.
I did this to practice drawing my character, Coliean, doing stuff.

I still think one shot pages like this are good practice to get the elements down
and then slowly expand the number of pages for one story, until you're confident enough to do a full project?

Maybe. My experience with this page was, that after finishing it, my hand hurt a bit.
The most gruesome part was the lineart which i never really was a fan of doing.
For a full project i might have to dump down on shading and other effects to get it done in time, unfortunately,
But I got some insights about comics and was happy finishing it^^
First I wanted to do a comic as a collab to split the work, get interesting results and have fun.
Thats why I did one in PMDE (a pokemon mystery dungeon rp group thing)
So i did the lineart (!) of 5 merged pages -> 16 panels and before my collab partner colored it, she bailed out because the group closed
Now the lineart lies on my sta.sh for years ; _ ;
I haven't tried doing comic collabs ever since. Not that I don't want to try it again but because I have no idea about what and with which person?

You'd be surprised actually, I know a few comics where a single page takes a week, maybe even months to come out
but definitely not at the cost of quality haha
It's just a thing you can consider if a quick turn around ultimately doesn't work for you
I guess i don't know much about collabs though! Maybe you might have to ask around or advertise a little? A risk probably has to be taken if you don't have any immediate friends who are willing

I would rather do it with someone i know or, at least , talked with before. But i am not good at asking x)
What i Imagine is something like 2 OCs doing stupid stuff or going on an adventure. A little bit like a rp xD

While I am not completely sure how many hours it was I at least can tell that I worked 1 afternoon + a whole day (only with a few breaks)

Wenn er bei jedem daher gelaufenen Insekt erstmal ein paar Fliegenklatschen durchgrillt hat er hoffentlich Reserve dabei.
Sekunde, jetzt wo ich darüber nachdenke, sind Plastik Dämpfe nicht gifitig? Ach macht bestimmt nichts.

Reserve ist immer gut^^ Und falls es Dämpfe geben soll, sind sie dafür da um die entwischten Insekten umzuhauen xD

Ja das hab ich bei einen Buch über Comics gelernt.
Der Grund dahinter liegt, dem Comic mehr Intensität zu verleihen.
Da das aber das einzige ist, was ich in dieser Richtung gemacht habe, hat der Comic mehr Klarheit als Intensität.
Am besten ist es jedoch wenn man Intensität und Klarheit gleichmäßig verteilt.
Dafür hätte ich aber weitere backgrounds und Posen mit mehr Tiefe zeichnen müssen.
Das wäre dann zu viel für mich aber ich wette es hätte den 4 und 5 panel mehr action verliehen^^

10/10 survival guide has shading and looks really good. Pro tip: according to the game Dark Souls fire is a great way to get rid of mosquitoes.
