I tried:

slavic mythology, myths and folklore

russian mythology, myths ans folklore

snake in slavic mythology

snake in slavic/russian folklore.......


in BOTH english and russian language.

And I didnt go far than wikipedia like informations. ;(

Can you help me, please? You surely know this creature better than me. I do research about slavic (east, west and south) mythology and folklore. And I even used the information I have so far to create fairytales (the book will be published these days). I think that Poloz seems like great and interesting creature/character and wish to write a story or tale with him.

If you need some fairy tales with The Great Snake I know only one. It names "poloz's daughter"  (Дочь Полоза). But i bealive only in russian language. My drawing is just a funart on this song lyricstranslate.com/ru/bride-p… Poloz's bride (невеста полоза)
