This was an experimental piece for me, but I am so happy with the result! I painted this a few months ago, and the whole scene and thinking about a possible story for this scenario actually led me to the creation of my fox character Baldur, which so far most don’t know much about, but I will be sharing more on him in the future (artwork and potentially backstory). I loved the idea of a colourful bright little fox facing down a dark and intimidating dragon hovering over his kill. Thanks for looking! PS - I apologize for the watermark, but I’ve had many people ask to use this piece and feel the chances of it being stolen are decently high and would rather not risk it!
