There HAS been some content in the story so far that has made me question if you really can comfortably read some of this stuff...

Hahaha the crazy crap we struggle to understand is one of the great parts!
There are certainly 'questionable' areas but I sort of just extend my boundaries around them as I go because I CAN'T EVER STOP READING. It's just too good a story! Of course, you'll have to decide for yourself as time goes on and it gets darker, and it is part of why I'm wary of recommending it to some people.
I was meaning how you are in for SO MUCH READING at the computer because this is THE LONGEST THING EVER.

Yeah... and yes, and actually, I think that's great for the both of us!! If there are.... questionable things, we can push ourselves to incorporate them in some way because we want to continue with the immersing story... and actually, it could (well I think you especially, depending how you feel about these things, since you can be a tough nut to crack and understand 
I've read some questionable stories and comics, but it was more for the story... I just accept what's in it and continue the interesting read, for if it has it's place, it belongs.
AH YES!! Haha I noticed!! I have no idea how far along I am, I'd be curious if there was some Homestuck-o-readameter where I can tell where I'm at!

I noticed!! However I do grow tired of reading it after some time, even if the draw to read it remains, so every time I go online I find myself reading it...
Btw... if it gets darker, that's a good thing - I love it when a story can contain darker elements.
(I'm a huge sap for the good vrs evil thing...

I could give you more detail but do you REALLY wanna know? You might get intimidated because you are nowhere NEAR me yet!

Just be careful of spoilers! And yeah, don't look if you'd rather just carry on at your own pace.
