If my OC Rosaline witnessed this, she'd heal Basil's injuries for him... and be aware of Ratigan. In my GMC fanfic The Albino Avenger, which I have just started writing, Basil first meets her and learns that Ratigan had been after her since he killed her biological parents. And the disturbing part: Ratigan left a scar on her back when she was a child--not long after he killed her mother.

Poor Basil!!!! That has to still hurt since it was from Ratigan!!! I'm sure Basil is still having nightmares for that!!! And Ratigan is scaring me!!! The drawing is awesome!! Keep up the good work.

Ok, I know how it is to put your work down because you're humble...but this isn't a piece you need to dare try to be humble for! It's amazing! Your shading is amazing, you NAILED Ratigan's face which is hellish to draw sometimes, and think, a rat leaving scars on a mouse, you got those proportions pretty good! LOVE this piece!

Poor Basil. There is something to be said about past scars. They will never leave a person no matter how much they heal up. Basil may hide his feelings from others, but deep down, he's hurting badly from that incident. Such traumas require therapy, but with him, he'll just delve into his next case to keep his mind occupied. Illumination pictures are my favorite, so this is high on my list for liking in pose, effects, art and color.

OH. MY. GOSH!!!!! I love love LOVE IT!!!! I literally squealed when I saw this in my inbox! You did SUCH a fantastic job!!! Oh my, Ratigan looks absolutely terrifying here! And you captured the emotion PERFECTLY. And I think you did great with the anatomy! You're amazing with colored pencils. Haha I like your picture 100 times better than mine!!! Seriously, words cannot describe how much I am in love with this. I still can't believe someone did fanart for one of my stories! You have no idea how much that means to me.
