This is a picture I've wanted to draw since late last year, but never got around to drawing.
At first it was going to be a full blown comic... and the Chaos were supposed to be Human-ized, but I shortened it to just a picture.
Basically, Those group of Dark Chaos are a group of trouble makers (SHOCKER). Usually all they do is petty pranks and annoy others. But this time they've captured one of the Hero Chaos, AND AS A PRANK TOO (How low).
However a group of the Hero Chao's friends have come to save her!
I used a Bunch of random Fan Characters of mine (Toshi [Omochao], Cutie [Hero Chao in Cage], Ai-chan [Tiger Hero Chao], Nameless Neutral Chao, Haku-kun [cheetah chao], Edge [dark chao on the bottom left], and Kimi [pink dark chao]) and Chaos I have in my actual SA2: Battle game (Cutie, Ai-chan, Haku, Edge, Kimi, Nameless Hero Chao, and Nameless Dark Chao).

They are raisable "Pets" In some of the Sonic The Hedgehog Games. Though some play major roles.

Ohgod. You make me want to go check on all my chaos. My game still has the first two chao that came with it-- SOUL (a green Shadow chao) and Chaosky (he was some type of Hero, but now he's an Angel chao)

I checked like, last night xD I have about...6-7 chaos. The ones I could identify were:
Hero/Fly/Fly
Neutral/Run/Run (He's a Sonic Chao, but he came from a Shiny White egg, so he has these pretty neat rainbow markings)
Dark/Run (he hasn't gone through his second evolution...I think I'll make him a Shadow chao).
A normal blue Chao. I have no clue what he was for.
This...some weird Neutral chao with Ram parts. I forget what I was doing with him.
My Angel Chaos Chao (he had the most leveled of EVERYTHING...then we lost it when he reincarnated :/)
Random Dark Chao. Dunno what he is lol.

Aw, atleast they had way better names than all of mine xD (SOUL, Chaosky, Kenu, Hiro, Yaoi (IDK why I named it that. I asked my friend and she gave me that name lol), and then there's that no name baby).
Hm. I think the things on their head grow with age. I'm not entirely sure, but I think that's close to it.

I use that website. alot. It looks like Cutie is turning to a basic Hero Chao... That means she'll be up for being an angel chao after her 2nd evolution! x3

I have the Stradegy Guide...so it lists where all the animals are. If you want, I can dig it up and give you the places I used for all the animals XD;

City Escape - By far one of my favorite stages. I use this stage to get the Raccoon, Rabbit, Sheep, Skunk, and Unicorn.
Wild Canyon - Used to get the Cheetah, Condor, and Dragon
Prison Lane - I get the Sea Otter, Tiger, and Gorilla here
Metal Harbor - Another favorite. I get the Penguin, Seal and Peacock here (we don't need another Raccoon, and the Phoenix was pretty difficult for me to get)
Green Forest - Parrot and Half-fish
Pumpkin Hill - Bat, Boar, Skeleton Dog
Meteor Herd - I think...I used this for the Phoenix. I'm not sure.
Crazy Gadget - Bear, and if you can't get the Phoenix in Meteor Herd, this is another stage to try for the Phoenix.
I think that's all 21 animals. Oh, and don't, I repeat, DON'T give the Chao any drives. Just animals. If you give them a drive, it completely messes it up.
Haha I was lucky, these stages were circled xD I guess to remind myself where to get them.
If you need to know where they are, just say so and I'll type up what it says in the guide xD;

Yeah, Chaos Drives are okay during the first evolution, but during their second evolution they're a no-no
