It's not an effect, per se. I used a flash to flatten out the light on the model which underexposed the background which was under cloud cover while the foreground was not. It was a rather odd.

Has anyone commented that Shei looks a lot like Jinx (Halle Berry) in "Die Another Day" (well aside from not wearing the dive belt) in this shot?
