I usually just bring up a bunch of photos online to look at for landscape ideas, while I have some pictures that either are my own (photographs I just snapped randomly from my iPad) that I might use to colour pick from if I'm stuck. So yeah, mainly inspiration from photos, and also inspiration from some of my favourite artists as well!
Though, I usually only do organic/fantasy backgrounds (mountains, fields, wacky colours, random messy stuff) as they're in my comfort zone and I can create everything as I wish and keep it rough looking ;w; I still need to practice with fine/manmade details without distracting too much from the scenes, in my opinion cx

I would love to see more backgrounds for you! Sometimes it's nice to do some studies from free use photos, to get an understanding of how to construct that distance and lighting I've loved practicing with backgrounds lately because with my other shiny, conceptual works I don't usually exercise realistic shading and the structure gets a little bland ;-;
