I really like the red lines around them since it is typical for your works and marks them as yours immediately. I also don't know HOW to make them, else I would have done this in my art nouveau one. The pairing is very unconventional as well. While I don't doubt the fact that Aria is into girls only for a second, it's surprising she got it on with Shepard. Not that the kiss after her DLC was bad at all. I can imagine that gave people the idea of this ship. I've only seen shep x Liara or Aria x Liara before (and Nyria), but this is new to me. I guess you are the Shep x Aria mistress on here. I totally love that there is one artist for every nice femslash ship in ME! Barb has Shiara, elmjuniper has femshepley, Sevala has Liaria, fishbone sam x Jane and you Aria and Shep. I'm so proud of you ladies to spread the femslash love of ME so much!
The composition of the image is blanced and nice to look at. It feels good, and that's hard to achieve, actually. I love Aria's pose. She looks kind of... whole. Perfect. Flawless. Like a graceful, wild animal. Shep's pose is simple, but nice as well. I think you are very, very good at realistic posing. Aria's sassy comment is damn sexy, by the way. I really like the wit and sass in your pictures. They are kind of young and fresh, and lively. The shading under shep's arm could have been a little darker, but the lighting is very good apart from that. The broad frame and the frames of the speech bubbles loook clean and tidy and give the whole piece an even more professional touch. Very well done, I'd say. It's a quality render that must have taken some time.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely, in-depth comment. You didn't need to! Really! I was just curious as to whether you'd like this kind of piece or if it wasn't really your thing. Thank you, for all of your kind words and your honesty.
I started writing my FemShep/Aria story some time before the Omega DLC came out, actually. And as I have said before, Aria had me at "That's close enough." which is the very first line she speaks in the games. I always thought it was a pity that we didn't get to have her as a love interest during Mass Effect's long run, but I do have my imagination, so I made my very own Alternate Universe and took my time to develop this romance.
I must admit, it is deeply satisfying.
Anyway, thank you again, I really appreciate it, and I don't mind in the least that you take your time.

Oh, there is a beautiful balance here at play, you see.
These two know each other so perfectly well, they are keenly aware of each other's intentions, strategies and goals. On the one side, Aria is, but of course, incredibly skilled at cheating, because let's face it, she always likes to win. On the other hand, Shepard couldn't care less for winning, when the result she wants to obtain is obviously not success at cards, and she is a little manipulative genius in making Aria believe that her victory is well deserved (as well deserved as winning by cheating can be...). But then again, Aria knows that Shepard is trying to convince her that she is winning because of her talent, and she rolls with it because the game of words and attitudes is even more fun than the game of cards. And Shepard knows that Aria knows that Shepard knows and... you get the drift.
In the end, it's a win-win situation, with a bit of sass and flirting and not-so-innocent fun. Best way to play the evening away.
