Description
This is my submission to the Pantheon of the Gods art contest.Meant to finish it and get it up yesterday but life ambushed me, as it tends to do to the unwary.
Anyways, please let me know what you think.

The pose, composition, lighting, all perfectly represent Balthazar. With your towering verticle lines, and brooding colours, you give him such weight and presence.

yeah, colored pencils are rough, like water colors they require too much forethought for me to really enjoy using 'em :/

awesome dude! love the mood of it. its great how you use your strokes and color pallette, although i think there could be some more shadows and lesser highlights perhaps? but really, thats just my opinion, im sure you had a good time painting this and its well worth your time. heck! its a Fav! lol ,

I definately like this much more with the cape/cloak going as it is. You did a great job, I wish you the best of luck in the contest. Lighting is awesome, I've still much to learn to catch up man, but you are a good source of inspiration, and help.

Awesome! That design in the sword totally made it better. I think I'd flare out the right side of the cape to make it a little less symmetrical. But that's just a nitpick. -shrug-
