„Don’t be silly! Sylus won’t be mad at you!“, Venus promised.
Clover had told her everything that happened and was still feeling unsure about confronting Sylus.
„But what if he won’t like that I don’t have the real clover anymore and I’m wearing a fake one?“
„That would be pretty dumb. It wasn’t your fault and your allowed to wear any accessory you want! A real friend wouldn’t be mad at you!“
Clover mumbled „I guess…“ and looked down at the hair clip in front of her.
„Don’t be afraid. Nothing bad will happen. And if Sylus does hurt you I’m going to make sure that he’ll never do that again to you!“
With a sigh Clover looked again at Venus und tried to smile.
„Alright. I’ll talk to him.“

With the clip in her mouth Clover searched through the Nook. Maybe Sylus was outside? Or he was busy? She wouldn’t be able to talk to him if he was busy…
Clover walked around the halls when she caught a glimpse of Sylus’ tail as he turned around the corner. Immediately she ran after him and called his name.
„Sylus! Wait! Please!“
The wyngling heard her and stopped.
„Clover? Why aren’t you outside and playing?“, he asked confused.
It wasn’t normal that she stayed inside the Nook especially without company.
„Something happened and I need to tell you!“
She caught her breath as Sylus waited for her to start speaking.
„The clover you gave me… It wilted. At least Alma told me so… And I’m so sorry that it happened!“
Her voice was a little shaky and she felt how her sorrow and fear came back.
„Yes, that’s normal?“
Sylus didn’t seem to understand what the problem was.
„But you gave it to me! And now I don’t wear it anymore! And Alma gave me this hair clip to cheer me up again… But it’s not the same and I don’t want you to feel mad or hurt.“
„Why would I? Alma gave you a pretty hair clip and I think it’s nice that you have it because of me.“
„But… but…“
Clover started stammering and was sure that there had to be a catch. Did she really get worried over nothing?
„Alright, to show you that I definitely don’t have a problem with everything that happened I’m going to put the hair clip in your hair just like I did with the clover.“
Without waiting for her response Sylus took the hair clip and secured it in her hair.
„There you go. Are you feeling better?“
Clover felt so overwhelmed with her emotions and just started crying while trying to hug Sylus.
„No no no! Wait! Clover, please calm down!“
