„Hey… Sylus…“„Hm?“
Sylus looked down to Clover who stared back up at him.
„If one of us grew up faster than the other, could we still be friends?“, she questioned.
„Yes? Why wouldn’t we?“, he answered immediately.
„I don’t know… Wouldn’t it be weird?“
„I don’t think so. You know, you sometimes worry about the strangest stuff.“
„Do I?“, she asked back.
„Yes. So don’t think about it anymore. We would still be friends.“, he assured her.
Suddenly Clover smiled and hugged him. Sylus was overwhelmed and tried to loosen her grip a little bit.
„I thought, you would say that!“, she exclaimed.
„Then why did you ask it in the first place?“
„Because I just had to make sure!“
„That’s great and all, but please stop squeezing me…“
