Thank you! Pretty close within 3 meters..they were very nosey though. if you were accidentally lying over one of their burrows they would come right up to you. Was an amazing experience.

Oh! The scant few ones I encountered flew away when approached, but I guess that was because they were leaving for the winter. That sounds like great fun, photographing nosey puffins.

Aye it was they are so used to having the island to themselves up here that they aren't afraid of humans.
