Description Full view = happier you

Okay, so I lied about never doing this type of art with a mouse again Yes, it's mousework, and yes, it was a pain in the ass. This would've taken less time if I had a tablet pen *cough* **waits for pen to arrive through the mail**

Another coloring test, this time with more vivid colors. The guy's smiling, and I didn't know why, so I just titled it that way. Yes, his ear is a bit low, but *shrug* I care not.

As always: a peek at the rest of my gallery, a comment, a +fav or +watch would definitely be appreciated ^_^. Nissan begs XD.

I was thinking, perhaps your problem w/ noses is that you are doing them just a little bit too long. It should be about four eyes heights (i have a rather strange way of measuring things ^^: ), including the actual eye. Also, the lips should slope outward, dip back pretty drastically right below the bottom lip, then go out again for the chin, which on most people would be almost as far out as their forehead.
Sorry I'm in such a nitpicky mood

Mmmm... It's not really the length that bothers me (and I'm aware that they're usually too long ),but the placement of the "ball" and the wings of the nose. I usually consider the length of the nose to be as long as the eye is wide (so instead of stacking the eyes like you said, I just... rotate it around). I never have a specific kind of nose in mind, so I can never make up my mind of whether the nose should be upturned, revealing the underside/septum or if I should give the person a downturned nose, and the like.

Depending on my mood, I sometimes shorten the nose's length... which is practically never because I get lazy ^^

But thanks for the nose tip ^_^! Umm... the lip part confuses me though

sorry, i don't know how to explain it without doing a pic... but the chin should protrude out more, rather than receding, and the lips come farther forward, too... ak, mayhaps i can get my scanner to work and show you, i am horrible w/ the mouse...

The ear is fine. The human ear starts at the top of the top lip, and ends at the eyebrow.

He looks like Mr. Weasley XD Awsomeness

Top of lip? I always thought it was at the nose...

And if you moved the ear closer to the middle of the head, it'll look better. I tried it, but I got too lazy with the editing and crap

But thanks !

Lol..Mr. Weasley..
