I was on a coach for over 7 hours. I drew Doctor Strange and Loki on my phone to try and stop myself from going insane.
Now that I’m back home I might make a short comic with these two. That scene with Strange and Thor was such a tease - I need mooaar!

I'm in love with Dr. STrange's costume. And I don't need to say anything about Loki. You know he's awesome and I love the way you drew his weapons, it's like a mix of Avengers and Thor 2.

Hiddleston made it in the same year Cumberbatch did (2011 was when Sherlock came to the states and when the first Thor movie hit theaters, even though it was Avengers that got Loki really famous.), and they did it on opposite sides of the Atlantic Ocean. Now, both of them are getting noticed for their secondary roles before they got famous, along with Eddie Redmayne appearing in Fantastic Beasts in November. Cumberbatch and Redmayne both appeared in The Other Boleyn Girl WAAAAAAAY back in the day, and both of them played geniuses who suffered tragic fates in 2015: Alan Turing (The Imitation Game) and Stephen Hawking (The Theory of Everything). And of course, what Romantic literature addict didn't go to see Hiddleston in Crimson Peak?
I tell you; Cumberbatch coming into Marvel's fold, after starring in Star Trek and several other television programs already, is less of a surprise to me than it might be for others.

Yeah they're all fan favourites and marvel/Disney have buckets of money so of course they're going to hire the most popular actors.

And it's not just their looks and accents that appeal to me. They actually have the acting chops to back up the avalanche of attention they are getting.

Yeah I agree - but as a Brit their accents just sound normal to me haha.
