I am not sure what it is about bunnies / rabbits - browsing through DeviantArt, these seem to be many folks who use rabbit heads / masks in their somewhat dark / sinister photography / art. I am not sure if this has roots in Alice in Wonderland, Donnie Darko or David Lynch's Rabbits mini-series or some other archetypal reference I do not know about. It does intrigue me, though. I keep thinking about doing a series about a bunny coming out of a tophat where the bunny is perhaps not so benign and not so cooperative with the magician.
