Description My first traditonal animation done in 2011, yay!!

I was very very bored today so this is what I drew ;D

23 frames, bg is drawn with markers and the cat is lined with a fineliner and colored with color pencils!
It has the same style as this one:

How did I put my animated character in a background without making mistakes and keep them consistent and perfect? I need help about Β backgrounds for animations in Animation Class.

I did this with layers. The point is to keep the background on 1 layer and put the character on a layer in front of the other one. In that case the background stays static^^
