MOMENT: Misty saves Ash
FROM: Pokemon The Movie 2000: The Power of One
Many Pokeshippers consider Pokemon The Movie 2000: The Power of One to be one of their favorite Pokemon movies ever, and it is certainly the case for me as well. For much of the film, Misty was jealous of Melody (especially since she kissed him early on). But later on in the film, when Melody wants to save an unconscious Ash from the ocean, Misty says no, calling Ash “her burden” before going into the ocean herself and giving us another great moment where she goes out into the ocean and brings Ash back to show so he can continue his adventure, marking the second time this list where she saved Ash’s life, and the only one where she did it intentionally.
