Can you please tell me where I can get the full size (4000x3000) version without a DA watermark on it? Either enable the download option, or remove the watermark. That watermark ruins the image. Other than that, I love it and I really want the full size image. Why did you disable the download option in the first place? According to Wikimedia, all your images are under a CC-BY-SA-3.0 License, so you shouldn't disable the download option.

I am afraid you you won't find any full size version of this image without watermark as I got rather tired or seeing people taking advantages of other people artworks (including mine) for making money without giving any credit or compensation to the artist. Also, only the (low resolution) images donated to Wikimedia are under a CC-BY-SA-3.0 License, which is not the case for this particular illustration.

Then how in the Universe do I obtain the full size image in JPEG format? Do I have to E-mail you, send a PM (if there even is such a feature on this site), or what? Please! I really want all your full sized images!

You can always click the "Buy this Print" button on the side and get a print...I don't make the full size image available to download for free because this will lead some to take advantage of it. I've seen people selling t-shirts and other stuff with my illustrations on them on various sites such as ebay, zazzle, amazon, etc... often without authorship acknowledgement. If it wasn't for those few dishonest jokers, I would have continued sharing my illustrations with people like yourself... Sorry, but the blame is on those wicked minds...

You didn't tell me what program you made the 3d model in. I'm guessing Maya, with Photoshop for the background. I love your deviations, but I won't add you to my favorites unless you send me a private link to a full size image or 3d model (Possibly through E-mail)! I hate those wicked minds too, but I wouldn't disable downloads over it! Just keep the "© N. Tamura, 2011" or "© Nobu Tamura, 2011" watermark in the bottom right (or left) corner; as long as it doesn't have that crazy watermark right on top of the raptor's tail, I'll put it as my desktop background. Here's something I like. [link] I feel the same way: nothing ruins in image more than a watermark does, especially when it's right on top of the main subject (in this case, a Deinonychus pouncing on his/her prey). When on Earth is DA going to make it possible to choose the position of the watermark manually?

Send me an email and I'll give you the full version without watermark... on the other hand, smaller size images without watermark are available in my portfolio at spinops.blogspot.com

P.S.: What program do you use? 3ds Max, Maya, Cinema4D, or other? If other, give the exact name of the program.

That's OK if you want.Just a tiny suggestion:Why don't you make it a Tenontosaurus hatchling instead???

NTamura In reply to Dino-Mario [2012-05-23 21:31:54 +0000 UTC]

Because it is always Tenontosaurus... the poor critter seems only to be known as food for Deinonychus!

The critter on the bottom is looking a bit too stiff to be freshly caught and pinned. I really like the current renditions of Deinonychus, think it looks more convincing than the giant lizard versions

Yes, more closer to bird than to any reptile...Yeah the critter seems long dead.

NTamura In reply to Krajax [2011-12-31 04:24:31 +0000 UTC]

With sprawling legs and long tail, more like a large mammaliaform of some sort... maybe a relative of Repenomamus?

Krajax In reply to NTamura [2011-12-31 21:19:28 +0000 UTC]

Maybe it's payback for Repenomamus eating those ceratopsid chicks. Now the dinosaurs are ticked off and beating up its other relative XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

NTamura In reply to EWilloughby [2011-12-27 03:11:43 +0000 UTC]

Not a curse... a benediction. I like them that way better. Getting tired to see most paleoartists depicting them as ugly monsters. I am pretty sure they were cute

EWilloughby In reply to NTamura [2011-12-27 03:23:57 +0000 UTC]

Haha, well thanks. Most big fluffy birds are pretty cute, so I suppose dromeys likely were as well!
