Description Microbrachis pelikani is a species of microsaur lepospondyl from the Upper Carboniferous of the Czech republic. The presence of grooves on its dermal cranial bones indicates that it probably had external gills retained through adulthood. It was a fully aquatic animal that measured about 15 cm in length.

I like that its pose feels like it is diving and darting beneath the surface.
