Omg @w@ Happy belated Birthday, Umbra I'm sorry that I wasn't able to finish this earlier.

Hm... title? "umbra" = latin ... means "shadow" in English if I am not mistaken I didn't have a better idea for the title *drop*

Last week ~LunaMikogami send me a note and asked for a Trade, since her best friends birthday was very close. I agreed as you can see here xD; But that doesn't mean that I am taking more Trades |D *has to work on two other ones* uhm *coughcough*

I really had fun drawing this although Umbra is almost black and I don't enjoy shading black that way much. But I experimented with different black and gray tones o3o that made it more interesting I guess. Hm... I hope you like it all in all. I guess I have to admit that I'm satisfied with it lol When I sketched this pic last weekend when I was in Hildesheim (town near by Hannover and Braunschweig in Germany) I didn't thought it would turn out that way well, because I ruined the proportions. I mean... the legs are too long and it doesn't really look as if he was really sitting on that rock if we focus on the shoes xD. But that's all that annoys me on that picture ovo I tried another style on doing water and how to structure rocks. Hmm... I'll use it more often for sure Further more I tried to make some light reflections like water usually does on the rock. Dunno... they look a little bit weird, but I like them anyway owo Uh... dunno hat to say more... Oh yeah, the moon and the feathers are brushes |D scroll down for links~
