Nosk, a very placid Royal Feonix that enjoys lazy days bathing in the sun and resting near water. He walks with a very pronounced stride. The brand/marking on his chest is bouncing between the two shown. I want something simple, the meaning to it or how Nosk got the brand is a story I have to flesh out. Sometimes my characters draw themselves and a story molds to them after letting them ‘run around in my head’ for a while.The name hunt for him was intense, I was nosing on exotic baby name sites, looking up translations for words that flow with him…and I decided to give up after a good hour. I went back to the file, looked at him, and the name just appeared. I tried to stick others to him but I can’t so Nosk it is.

I have the pressure sensitivity option that enables your brush to control the opacity (you can also use the 'Other Dynamics' or 'Transfer' Brush setting to mimic this. tbh the option is probably a shortcut for one set of options Transfer/Other Dynamics offers.
I also used a 'triangle' based brush for this-it helps gives sharp angles, much like an ink pen.

You did a grand job on Nosk's name! It's unique and fits him. Since he is simple and relaxed, so shall his name be. But, it is also as interesting as he is as a creature. A simple Royal Feonix. ^^

Similar to coyote prints, a little larger and space out, but not quite as large as a northern range wolf print. All Feonixes are manx, they have no tail, just a bunch of butt fluff. c:
