Description
The full moon gazed eerily down at the earth, its pale light illuminating a field on the edge of a forest. Silently, a shadow darted out of the trees, lithely making its way across the pasture. The sheep barely had a chance to react, as a large wolf leapt over a hill, and upon the small herd. One sheep in particular could do nothing as the great beast landed upon it, and with its jaws, ripped out the throat of the bleating animal, silencing it immediately.

The Sheppard, whom had been resting underneath a tree in his cloak, got up as fast as he could, his staff already in hand, ready to give a good whacking to any wolf who dared attack his herd, but what he saw was no ordinary wolf.

The beast was easily six feet tall, and its fur was a rich brown, but it was sitting on its hind legs, while grasping the dead sheep with its arms, as if it were somewhat human. He choked back a scream, but the noise was enough to startle the beast, in which it dropped its kill and turned its horrible gaze on him. Its eyes glowed with a golden colour only demons could possess, and it bared its teeth at him, which made a gruesome picture, due to the blood covering it’s maw already.

His people had stories of such creatures, but he had always thought they were myths. It was the beast of the night.

The werewolf.

Did this for the Werewolf at heart contest, and once I have a link to it,

Did this for about 4 hours. An hour each day, and I'm quite proud of it... the background at least X3 I need to work on trees obviously, and werewolf anatomy, but I like how it turned out. I used multiple refrences, including a tutorial for the sky and moon, and hopefully I can find the artist who made the tutorial o.0 Anyways, hope you like it!
