pretty straightforward really, it's just 52 photos stitched with a program called hugin. if you search flickr for stereographic panoramas there are some really amazing examples out there.

52? wow great I guess you have a special tripod... I know hugin I used once but I messed up I will try it again... I need to take more panos...

Nah, there are special pano tripod heads available, but I just used a normal one for this. In fact if you have a steady hand and a bit of photoshop retouching skill you don't have to use a tripod at all.

hugin does takes a lot of figuring out though, it's pretty unintuitive.
