From the scene in the Lay of Leithian in which Beren first sees her in Doriath(I'm sure all those tiny white moths do make a pretty scene, but I read "garland of white moths with tiny fiery eyes" and part of me dies inside - I am not keen on moths. And I am so not an Elf Princess.)
