No, I don't think that Jessica belongs to the awesome Mr. Avery, I just wanted to kind of pay homage to one of my fave animators from my childhood days and his awesome style. I have to admit that I loved his way to draw women, even if they looked quite similar and may not seem to conform to the modern feministic views
. Btw, while drawing this, I discovered that Jess was primarily inspired by Avery's probably most famous character, Red from the Red Riding Hood. So, to draw her in this style suits her quite well, don't you think?
