The Final FlourishAlas, I am bringing my photo essays from my recent visit to KwaZulu Natal to a close with this miscellany of a feature. I wish to thank the hundreds of DA members who have looked at, faved and commented upon these features and their photographs. Your support has been very much appreciated and helps me further develop such skills as I possess. We have travelled a long way in these features from the Indian Ocean through the bush lands of the interior with their rich wildlife to the Drakensbergs, those most magnificent of mountains. Along the way we have seen such delightful creatures as the Samango monkeys and the graceful impala, some dangerous bozos such as the Dugga Boy and the randy rhino, and a myriad of fantastic birds including the African Hoopoe, Brown-hooded Kingfisher, Birchell's Coucal and a favourite of mine, the Cape Batis. In this journal, I am featuring some insects and then, unusually for me, some important people.
