This year's birthday gift for myself.

She is Bai Suzhen, from the legend of the White Snake. The version of her story that I knew ran thus : that she was a white snake that turned into a beautiful woman. A scholar fell in love with her and would have been killed and eaten, but a monk intervenes and destroys her.

For the artwork itself, there's some problems with the anatomy and the composition. She was supposed to have more detail to her and snake skin too, but I can't seem to summon the willpower for that this year. So she'll stay just like that. xD Had a lot of fun painting the BG though!
