Well the whole fingerprint thing is just in shows and movies. They aren't reliable at all irl and as someone who works with tools alot i can tell you that more than likely my prints don't even look the same as the ones they took when i was a baby (cuts, scrapes, burns, scraping the tip of three of my fingers off on a belt sander) so unless somone has an active criminal record they cant match them to anything. And who is gonna dust the outside of the 14th floor window cuz spiderman might of left prints.

Thanks. The idea was that he would start at the last one and build up. Start off with just having to use his clothes as a makeshift costume, then eventually making something that could be a costume(but because hes a teenager he can't just make/ buy another one so its covered in patches) to finally meeting someone who knows a thing or two about fashion and clothing design.
Ive just always had a pet peeve when spiderman just goes from thrift store costume to supersuit with no explanation of how, or how he's just able to fix it no problem. TASM kind of did it with the sunglasses for lenses and repurposing shoes for boots. I just wanted it to be something he builds up to.
