Well, tis just be a work-in-progress from me. Elrond, Arwen, Elladan/Elrohir (The terrible Twin stars of Rivendell) and Baby Aragorn. Elrond being a single daddy since Celebrian sailed away would indeed have his hands full with children, he would.
Very rough sketch.

Poor Elrond. Poor poor Elrond. He does loves them but they do get on his nerves - a lot. The twins - and in fandom a certain Elven-Princeling - turned Estel (Aragorn) into a trouble-maker too.
Estel seems to be enjoying himself, one of the twins is holding a bug and looking like he's plotting, Arwen looks like she is also plotting, the other twin .... not too sure and Elrond just looks annoyed.

Add the fact that Elrond raised many of the children of the Dunedain Chieftains after they lost their kingdom, to ensure they'd grow up in a safe place and be well educated, etc.

Very cute--great expressions on everybody. (Though Elrond would not be a single parent yet, as the Twins were well into their adult years when Celebrian was captured and hurt--they rescued her, after all. Er...for that matter, Elrond's kids were all well into their majority by the time Estel came along...*worried canongeek retreats apologetically*)

He has no overwhelming urge to battle for life and limb only to be forced back to Mandos from the trauma.

Heheh...you'll be seeing a lot more, yes. Elrond's expression...I was trying to emulate that trademark Hugo Weaving pout, but it turned out something else. Still, it does kinda suit him.
