#EYES-on-the-EYES second Deviation of the Week!
This was supposed to be the manipulation used for my next tutorial I really don't know what happened.
Guess I got carried away again.
Either way, I like it.
Though it does remind me of Under the Sea a bit, it's also a little different.
It was really great layering practice with the awesome star fractal stock provided by ~greenaleydis-stock and the eye from ~Becs-Stock . Who I might add has to be one of my all-time favorite stock artist.
I'm currently trying to work on the tutorial and I'd also like to have at least one more manipulation out this week.

Yea, Jack Black seems to have dabbled in different media like some other celebs. I would have never expected the same guy from Tenacious D to tell kids about an Octagon on Sesame Street. XD

Heh, I didn't even know he had kids, then again, I'm not big on celebs' personal lives to begin with. Still, we can expect to see him in future embarassments like "Gulliver's Travels".
However, Jack Black isn't the only celeb to go from young and vulgar to innocent. Look at Bob Saget, Eddie Murphy, and Robin Williams. They used to do adult only stand-up and later they ended up doing kids movies.

I really got into the whole celeb thing when I got sick a few years back. Now I'm just thankful to see one of them on regular tv.

Well, like you said, having kids might have changed Jack Black, so maybe that's the case for those other celebs I mentioned, but then again, maybe it was just the entertainment industry looking for someone with personality and enthusiasm to do fresh, new kids/family shows. Still, any good actor/actress can do various roles, kinda like good ol' Johnny Depp.

I hoped it'd be good considering they've cut out Will, Elizabeth, Pintel and Ragetti, and Gore Verbinski isn't directing.
Hopefully Rob Marshall lives up to all the expectations placed in front of him.

Even though I like Will and Elizabeth, it's nice to see a POTC movie focused on Jack and his antics. I get the feeling that this is gonna be funny.

Yeah, that was one of my random internet finds.
And I'd love to see a movie just about Jack.
I love Will and Elizabeth, particularly some of the scenes with Will and Jack together, but at times their relationship took away from the excitement of the films.
Anyways, I'm interested to see how Penelope Cruz's character (Blackbeard's Daughter) interacts with Jack as well.
