Description
This fella is based on an old species of mine called Nuva'zack. In their own language the name would mean "Eheän syöjät", which roughly translates to something like "The eaters of the unbroken/wholeness".Any Finnish people who can come up with a better translation, feel free to comment xD
I've missed these guys and the story they are in. I should get back to writing it again some day.
Also the overall look for this creature was inspired of a mandarinfish

You and your stories! There must be so many of them. I thought these were sorta just...'one offs'. Ya know, you have a concept of an idea and you just write it down (in art), but whooaaa! I didn't know you had a whole other story up your sleeve.

Yes! I've been drawing dark and depressing stuff (except the recent evoloons) ever since the goretober so it's about time for something else! xD
And oh boi, you don't even know how many there are.
The Nuva'zack are a part of a world which has 6 more other intelligent races. (Hortix, Shargran, Tankathri, Ortrun, Alastair, Rwaddi)
I have planned to write about... 10 different stories relating to this world. All of them are going to be more or less separate stories, from different time periods (a few from a Medieval age and the others from a more technologically advanced setting). What binds all these stories together is that they slowly reveal new secrets about the world the races live in
Since well, these species live on moons which circle around this huge planet called "Alku" (="The beginning"). No one really knows what's on Alku before people invent spaceships to have a look ;D
So in the first Medieval stories we basically only get to know about this planet through different religions and believes but later on people will also go on the surface.
Ahem excuse me, I got a little excited with that xDD

That sounds so cool! Where on earth do you come up with all these names for things? They just flow off the tongue like magic, I love it.
Now I really wish there were more Oranges. Then you could pick an Orange for each series/job, and get so much stuff done.
You should definitely find the time to write them out. I would certainly read them. The idea of the story being told through different viewpoints, times, and perspectives is interesting.
I just assumed the few art pieces were part of Step Aside, but on closer inspection, they do look different.

Honestly, I don't know. Good names take me weeks to figure out. I usually save a bunch of lists with names I have randomly gathered up/invented over time and whenever I need to name something I look up these lists.
Yeah I wish that too. Sad thing is that most of the texts I already have written are only in Finnish so I would need to translate a lot before I could keep writing forward.
But I think I'll keep working on the slowly

That's actually a good idea. I kinda like the thought of just looking up fun patterns from real fish and then drawing my creatures based on them.
Could really be a fun little series ^^
