Description My new obsession. I love Jonathan Creek so felt I ought to draw Alan Davies!

There are things wrong with it but as it's the first proper picture I've drawn in my free time for a long while I decided I didn't care.

It looks better full view, although I have no idea what size it will actually turn out as it looks pretty awful in the thumbnail size on the uploading page.

Because of the angle of the face and his grin he did spend a while looking very much like a serial killer.

Anyhoo, no idea how long it took 'cus I drew it over a period of days in about 10 minute slots because I was travelling around France and Belgium in a coach - ha ha ha ha...

Edit: Still love Jonathan Creek, I actually visited the windmill last week. It was lovely, but people need to pick up their dog mess.

Oh, the opening credits...they do make one shudder, don't they?

He doesn't look like a serial killer at all. Nice work! I like the hair especially.

I absolutely love Danse Macabre. I was actually just listening to the Saint-Saens version, which is the closest I have found. I meant the Qi intro...I have to remind myself of how great the actual show will be in order to get through it.

Oh yes, it is awful music! It almost made me feel ill I hated it so much; I used to mute it when it came on. Now it's on so often that I've become immune to it (I blame 'Dave').

Yay Yeah it is! Weirdly I've just spent the last two days watching it non-stop whilst painting. Though now I'm running out of episodes. Wish they'd make another series, the Christmas Special proved they've still got it Thanks!

I know, the Christmas special was brilliant. I liked Sheridan Smith too, so I wish they'd do more with her. Not that I watch it for the assistant

Alan Davies just posted something yesterday on Twitter about the possibility of another series. He says David Renwick might do another episode (sounded doubtful about it though) so my guess is there may be some specials over the years but probably not a series.

Yeah, she was good - I listen to the Doctor Who radio stories with her as Paul McGann's assistant so I had high hopes Similar roles really!

I bought it randomly after seeing Davies on QI and other stuff and deciding he was cute So then spent ALL my money on Jonathan Creek box sets...'cus I bought them seperately...which of course worked out more expensive ^^
