Description Out of another world this demon came. No one knows how it crossed the barrier between the two worlds and what purpose. It is believed it is possessed by pure evil, as he killed everyone at sight. The demon blades "Scaraceus" were thus forged in an attempt to kill this evil spirit. Which was indeed a success, but the blades themselves were a terrible curse..

Being out of pure magic, its arms take on new forms. The purple smoke it produces can cover the whole body and hide it behind a thick purple cloud.
Though it seem to have eyes on its head, these eye-like features seem to have another purpose, since the creature actually is blind.

Aww, thank you
I'm quite happy how this turned out actually. Really wanted to leave my comfort zone a bit and drawing something a bit more difficult than usual.

This looks amazing!  Really love the purple smoke emerging from its body and those skeleton claw hands!

Thanks, glad you like it!
Just noticed that I rarely ever draw purple things and thought it was time to change that for once. After all, it's quite a beautiful color, placed correctly ...and I really always struggle with everything like fire or / and smoke, so why not include both of these rarely drawn things into one picture? ..I am a bit surprised by the outcome myself, something like this definitely wouldn't have been possible not so long ago..

You're most welcome!
That is true! Purple has such a nice effect (when used correctly, just like you mentioned ) And you combined those two perfectly! It still suits your style with your unique creatures and is something new as well ;D
And that's something amazing about art - you learn and grow with every piece you make. Seeing progress is something that keeps one going ;D

That's the amazing thing if you keep at drawing stuff.. At some point suddenly stuff which seemed impossible or really difficult become doable. For example I almost always avoided using black or white as a color, since I always messed that up. But recently I noticed I gained enough skills to finally make it look more like I actually intended.
Still have a long way to go, I'm nowhere near I want to be with my art skills, but that's totally fine... After all, "the journey is the destination"

That's so true! I completely agree with that. It's honestly sad to see some artists give up with their art because they think they aren't good enough, when after all you only need patience and enough motivation to keep going. And drawing has to be entertaining as well and not just something to show off with ;D

Yes, I guess that's what most people tend to forget.
Art is mostly about training, doing the same thing over and over again, until you get better at it.
Well, most things in life are like this after all, nobody is born as a master of anything. While indeed some are probably a bit better than others in a certain trait and while some might be better after the same amount of training, still everyone can reach a certain level of skill with enough dedication
But of course, the whole thing needs to be fun / enjoyable, it's no use to force yourself to draw

I completely agree with everything you wrote here! ;D Having fun while doing art is in my eyes the most important part.
